Congestive Heart Failure

A heart condition caused by inadequate pumping of blood. Congestion and edema (swelling) of body tissues result from this failure to pump the blood through the vessels. Clinical signs include weakness, shortness of breath, enlarged neck veins, and an enlarged liver.
