An Elegant Evening
in Monte Carlo
The Miriam Gala is a special event for those who support the tradition and accomplishments of The Miriam Hospital.
We hope you will join us on October 25, 2008, at the Rhode Island Convention Center for an evening that promises to be full of gaming fun, dancing to the sounds of FreeStyle, and fabulous live and silent auctions.
This year, the gala will raise funds to support the creation of the Charles C. J. Carpenter, MD Chair in Infectious Diseases at The Miriam Hospital. Since its inception in 1993, the gala has raised over $1.1 million for significant programs and equipment at the hospital, including the Women's Cardiac Care Program, renovations to the ICU/CCU and the Emergency Department, as well as the purchase of the da Vinci surgical robot.
The Miriam Hospital extends its grateful appreciation to event chairs Jerrold and Barbara Lavine and the entire 2008 Event Committee. Their hard work and dedication have made this event possible.
