Our Services
A comprehensive evaluation may include the following services:
- Neurological, psychiatric and medical examinations
- Neuropsychological evaluations
- CT and/or MRI scans (when appropriate)
- Electroencephalograms
- Metabolic and biochemical studies
- Recommendations for treatment will be made to referring physicians
when appropriate.
Research
The Miriam Hospital Memory and Cognitive Disorders Assessment Service
participates in experimental trials of new drugs for the treatment
of certain memory disorders. Eligible patients may have the option
of participating in these trials.
