How do I get involved?

All patients must be referred by a physician. Pulmonary function testing, chest x-rays, and recent blood work, including arterial blood gases are advised. The pre-admission assessment includes a physical therapy evaluation that includes a 6 minute walk test, evaluation of muscle strength, ROM, gait, SPO2 and exercise tolerance. A quality of life assessment and medical history are evaluated.
