Cardiothoracic Surgery
 The Miriam Hospital’s cardiac surgery department is led by four board certified cardiothoracic surgeons, each able to perform a wide variety of cardiac, thoracic and peripheral vascular procedures. They represent more than ninety years of cumulative experience.
Anesthesiologists dedicated to the management of complex cardiothoracic and vascular procedures provide each patient with the latest measures of intraoperative therapy and assessment. Every patient is monitored with a transesophageal echocardiogram (sonogram). Our team of surgeons, anesthesiologists and cardiologists work closely at The Miriam. This cooperative approach has led to the outstanding results at all levels of complexity.
