Meet Our Clinicians
Martin Miner, MD
Co-Director, Men’s Health Center
Clinical associate professor of family medicine, Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
Miner has practiced preventive and primary care medicine for more than 23 years. He is the author of more than 50 publications in the areas of ED and cardiovascular disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia and lower urinary tract symptoms in reference to male sexuality, and hormonal replacement therapy in men. He currently is active in several research studies on men’s health, and has received the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award in 2003 and 2007.
Mark Sigman, MD
Co-Director, Men’s Health Center
Associate professor, urologic surgery, Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
Sigman has over 20 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic and reproductive problems. He has authored more than 90 publications in the areas of male reproductive medicine and surgery and also has lectured extensively throughout the country on this topic. Sigman has served on the editorial board of several medical journals and has received the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award in 2005.
John Wincze, PhD
Associate Director, Men’s Health Center
Clinical professor, department of psychiatry and human behavior, department of psychology, Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
Wincze has over 30 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sexual problems. He has published over 100 research papers, book chapters and books in the area of sexual behavior. He has been invited internationally to lecture on the topic of sexual dysfunction. For several years, he served as Head of the Psychology Licensing Board for Rhode Island, and is currently the associate editor of the Journal of Sex Research.
