Who
is Enrolled in the GENESIS Program?
A patient is enrolled in the GENESIS program if he or she presents
any of the following:
Problems getting to sleep
Does not feel rested after sleep
Routinely takes a sleeping pill at home
Dehydration
Poor appetite or recent weight loss
Requires assistance with daily activities such as dressing or
transferring from bed to chair
At risk for falls
At risk for pressure sores
Sensory impairment (visual or hearing loss)
Uncontrolled or severe pain
