  • Tofu Chocolate Pie

  • Ingredients:

    • 20 oz (2 packages) firm silken tofu
    • ¾ cup liquid sweetener such as honey, maple syrup or light corn syrup
    • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 pre-made pie shell
    • Banana slices (optional)


    • In food processor or blender, whip tofu until smooth.
    • Heat sweetener in microwave for 90 seconds (Med-High) or on stove top. Sweetener does not need to be boiling, however it should be hot enough to dissolve the cocoa powder.
    • Mix cocoa powder into the heated sweetener until mixture is smooth, add vanilla. Stir until smooth.
    • Add chocolate mixture to tofu and continue blending about 1 minute.
    • Pour into pre-made pie shell and chill for 1-2 hours. If desired, garnish with banana slices.
