Volunteer Information Sessions
Like you, we are carefully monitoring news about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States and locally. As a proactive step, the volunteer program for Rhode Island and Hasbro Children's hospitals is cancelling the information session that had been scheduled for March 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation for future volunteer information sessions. Please call 401-444-5530 with any questions.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and out of high school. Day, evening and weekend placements are available. Volunteers must be able to commit to 100 hours of service.
Our volunteers are college students, retirees, working professionals, individuals considering a career change or returning to the work force, and individuals with a special skill or talent.

All sessions will be held at Rhode Island Hospital in the Plum Beach Room.
Note: You can always ask for guidance from the staff at the information desk.
There are adult and college student sessions. In-state college students may attend an adult session.
After you register for an information session, print and bring the volunteer application form with you to the session for which you are signed up.
