Quinneil Simmons is a 2014 graduate of Colgate University where he majored in neuroscience. Quinneil began working for Lifespan in emergency clinical research and now serves as the Program Coordinator for the Workforce S.T.A.T. (Solutions, Training and Teamwork) and Seacole Scholars programs. In this role, he assists with program design and the on-boarding of new STAT employees, and oversees the Seacole Scholar program each summer.
Willie Borkai earned his master of public health degree in urban studies from Northeastern University. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree from Roger Williams University, where he majored in psychology with concentrations in anthropology/sociology and American studies. Prior to joining the team, Borkai worked in the mental health field. In his current role, he primarily works on a qualitative research study about the perceived health outcomes of youth participating in summer programs, and assists with Summer Youth Employment Program development.
Michaela Ferreira is a 2014 graduate of Providence College, where she majored in elementary/special education. During the summer months, Ferreira works at Lifespan as a case manager and grant coordinator for the Lifespan Summer Youth Employment Program.
