Psychoeducational Psychotherapy (PEP) Parent Therapy Group

Are you the parent of a child who is experiencing mood swings or other types of mood problems? Are you looking for support as you seek the different treatment options available to them? The Psychoeducational Psychotherapy (PEP) Group, coordinated through Bradley Hospital, is looking to recruit parents of children ages 7 to 13 who need support with their child’s mood problems.

The evidence-based PEP Group provides parents with psychoeducation on childhood mood disorder symptoms, course of the disorder, and effective treatments. The group also teaches positive parenting strategies for managing children’s mood and behavior and addresses parent-specific coping and self-care strategies.

Join the PEP Group to Connect with Other Parents

If you are looking for social and emotional support from other parents facing similar challenges and want to learn new ways of helping your child, join the PEP Group to connect. This therapy group aims to foster social and emotional support among parents facing similar challenges. At the same time, the moderators provide real-life strategies for improved mood and behavioral problems.

The group meets via Zoom once a week for twelve weeks. Each session will last approximately an hour.
