Living Well with Congestive Heart Failure
At age 41, everything was going right for Kevin DeJesus. He had just completed his doctoral studies and was looking forward to obtaining a full-time job in academia. He had finally quit smoking. He was spending time with friends, and enjoying the activities he loved.

Following hospitalization at The Miriam Hospital and months of hard work in cardiac rehabilitation at the Center for Cardiac Fitness, Kevin was ready to move forward with his new, healthier lifestyle.
Kevin was quickly reminded that sometimes things don’t go as planned.
