Changes Due to COVID-19 and Support for Patients at the Center for Weight and Wellness
Due to COVID-19 preparedness and response efforts, the Center for Weight and Wellness is suspending all in-person weight management groups until further notice.
Support for Patients
In order to support you with your weight loss program while our groups are suspended, the following services are available:
In-person medical visits will be available for any urgent medical concern relating to your Center for Weight and Wellness program. Please call the staff at 401-793-8790 to schedule a visit. Please review this information before visiting any Lifespan facility or outpatient practice for an appointment or procedure.
- In the absence of in-person groups, Center for Weight and Wellness participants will now have the ability to partake in group, online, via the Zoom platform. Please call to speak with one of our patient service representatives if you have any questions.
Follow-up visits for individual weight management programs will now be conducted via a remote video visit, utilizing Zoom or MyChart. The provider will contact you at your regularly scheduled follow-up appointment time. Please call the staff at 401-793-8790 if your scheduled appointment is no longer a convenient time to be contacted and we will be happy to reschedule.
These videos offer help with coping with eating and emotions during COVID-19.
Product sales will continue to be available. At the present time you can purchase a two-week supply. We request all product orders be called in and processed over the telephone. Please have your credit card information available.
