Tricia Leahey, PhD

Tricia Leahey, PhD, is an assistant professor (research) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and the Miriam Hospital's Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center. She received her PhD in clinical health psychology in 2008 and was the recipient of an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein Fellowship award from 2008 to 2010.

Leahey's research focuses on developing and testing obesity treatment paradigms that are highly disseminable and harnessing social influence and social network factors to promote weight loss. Her work is supported by the National Institutes of Health.
