Dale S. Bond, PhD

Dale S. Bond, PhD, is an assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and The Miriam Hospital. He received his PhD in health promotion and education at the University of Utah and was a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University prior to completing a postdoctoral research fellowship at The Miriam Hospital Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center. Bond's primary research interests are in behavioral aspects of bariatric surgery, with particular focus on measurement and modification of physical activity and sedentary behaviors in these patients. He is also interested in the effects of weight loss on migraine, sexual dysfunction and other conditions linked to obesity.
