Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center Inpatient Unit

The inpatient rehabilitation program at the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center is designed for patients who require intensive, interdisciplinary rehabilitation services in a hospital setting.

Vanderbilt's acute inpatient rehabilitation unit has 12 beds, each in private rooms with private baths, some featuring water views.

The center's highly qualified and dedicated staff employs an interdisciplinary team approach to care, providing services in a 24-hour therapeutic environment with direct nursing care and intensive physician-directed therapy programs.

Our services are individually designed to address special care needs, maximize the abilities, and minimize the dysfunction of each patient.

Medical services are provided by physician members of the Newport Hospital medical staff, including major specialties and diagnostic services.

Laboratory, pharmacy and diagnostic imaging services are located onsite and are capable of responding to all inpatient rehab needs immediately.
