Qigong

Many find Qigong (pronounced “chee gong”) effective in helping with chronic illness, reducing high blood pressure, arthritis pain, headaches, depression, stress and many other conditions.

The Qigong practice focuses on decreasing physical, mental, and emotional stress as well as helping increase energy.

Wisdom Healing (Zhineng) Qigong is an integrated system based on the teachings of founder Dr. Pang Ming that provides an effective path to take charge of your health and discover your own “inner medicine.”

The practices are slow and gentle movements, meditations, sounds and visualizations. Participants will be guided to connect with mind, heart, body and spirit to open and awaken the blocked qi (energy) in the body, allowing for qi to flow.

The 90-minute classes are taught by Irene Cyr, a certified wisdom healing (Zhineng) Qigong (WHQ) Level One instructor. She is also trained in Reiki, acupressure, Chinese herbs, homeopathy and is certified in Polarity therapy.

The cost is $120 for the 6-week series.
