Nutrition Counseling

Would you like to make lifestyle changes to help manage your weight?  Like to learn how to make healthier food choices?  Has your health care provider suggested you make dietary changes? Are you pregnant or planning a pregnancy and have dietary questions?

We Can Help

Healthy eating can help manage or reduce the risk of many health concerns including:

  • heart disease
  • high cholesterol
  • high blood pressure
  • cancer
  • diabetes
  • osteoporosis
  • food allergies
  • celiac disease
  • irritable bowel syndrome

Our registered dietitians, Katie Lester, MS, RD, LDN, CIC, and Jennifer DiBello, MS, RD, LDN, CDOE, offer individual nutrition counseling and group programs to help fulfill your health and wellness needs.

Please keep in mind that each insurance plan differs by employer and that your insurance company has a separate nutrition policy for each plan. We ask that ALL new patients call their member service number prior to the first appointment to confirm coverage for a nutrition consultation. This applies to all plans, even plans that do not require referrals. The contact number will be listed on your insurance card.

We recommend you understand the following information prior to your appointment:

•    What is my co-pay for each visit (a dietitian is often considered a specialist)?
•    How many visits will be covered in the calendar year?
•    Is a referral, prior-authorization or pre-determination required?
•    Will the cost of an appointment be applied to my deductible?

When you schedule your appointment, we will help guide you through this process to ensure you receive accurate information from your insurance company.
