As the only full time center in the state that is entirely dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and research of multiple sclerosis, the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Rhode Island Hospital offers patients a uniquely comprehensive and expert level of care.
Our highly experienced team provides the full continuum of services, from diagnostic consultation to long term multidisciplinary care, as well as access to the latest clinical trials and therapies. Our specially trained nursing staff works closely with patients, family members and primary care physicians, helping patients to navigate the intricacies of diagnosis and treatment and keeping all parties informed and involved. We coordinate care with a wide array of specialty providers, from urology to psychiatry, in order to develop the best treatment plan possible for each patient.
We are also the only full time center in the area to be affiliated with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, allowing us to provide enhanced educational programs and services.
