Due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, our Portsmouth, RI office has temporarily relocated to our Tiverton office, located at 711 Main Road in Tiverton, RI. Your providers remain committed to caring for you during these uncertain and unprecedented times. If you have an appointment scheduled at our Portsmouth Primary Care office, a member of your care team will be contacting you to move your appointment with your provider the Tiverton location.

Our practice, formerly known as Portsmouth Family Medicine, provides comprehensive medical care for children, parents and grandparents, and offers a knowledgeable and compassionate staff to provide complete care for you and your entire family.

Office Hours

Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For established patients: all our family medicine practices offer weekday walk-in hours for quick-sick visits.  For routine appointments such as physicals and follow-ups, please call the office to schedule.

Our Providers

Before coming to Newport Hospital, Famador, who is board certified in Family Medicine, worked for Comprehensive Community Action Program in Coventry. She is a graduate of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Quezon City, Philippines, and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside.

Camille  Montes, MD is board certified in Family Medicine, Montes comes to Newport Hospital from the Comprehensive Community Action Program in Cranston. Dr. Montes is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside.
