Palliative Care Services at Rhode Island Hospital
Rhode Island Hospital's end-of-life caregivers are an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers and chaplains who are specially trained to ensure that your medical, physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met.
We are guided by the core beliefs that when a patient reaches the end of life, he or she:
- Deserves to die with dignity
- Should never feel alone
- Deserves to die without fear or pain
- Should be able to participate in his or her own care
- Deserve to be treated with respect and compassion
