Culturally-Sensitive Care for Latino Cancer Patients
The 11th Annual Latino Cancer Control Task Force (LCCTF) Cancer Conference, "Culturally-Sensitive Care for Latino Cancer Patients," will take place on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.
The event will be moderated by Abdul Saied Calvino, MD, oncologist surgeon at Roger Williams Medical Center. Panelists will include Mercedes Pacheco, MD, Hope Health medical director for hospice services, Pablo Rodgriuez, MD, president and executive director of Womens-Care, and Michael Alavian, MD, urologist.
An "Ask a Doctor" panel, flu vaccines, blood pressure and blood tests, and information tables will be available from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Dinner and talks will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
This is a free event and Spanish interpretation will be available.
