DQ Miracle Treat Day

$1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at Providence Place and North Attleboro locations will be donated to Hasbro Children's Hospital

On Thursday, July 27, two local Dairy Queen® restaurants will be encouraging members of the community to Eat Dessert First for one day only to raise funds for Hasbro Children’s Hospital on “Miracle Treat Day.” The nationwide fundraising initiative is part of Dairy Queen’s commitment to pediatric care and research through its partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, of which Hasbro Children’s Hospital is a proud member.

Throughout the 13th annual “Miracle Treat Day,” Dairy Queen in Providence Place and at 389 North Washington Street in North Attleboro will donate $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold to Hasbro Children’s Hospital. The featured “Miracle Treat Day” Blizzard Treat of the Day will be Oreo®, the most popular Blizzard Treat to date, while the Blizzard Treats of the Month for July are Frosted Fudge Brownie and Salted Caramel Blondie. Along with these signature treats, all other Blizzard flavors will be available on July 27.

In addition to the funds raised through the sale of Blizzard Treats, Dairy Queen customers will have an opportunity to make a contribution to Hasbro Children’s Hospital by purchasing a “Miracle Balloon” paper icon upon checkout.

One-hundred percent of the money raised by the two locations will remain local, providing funding for critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care. The Providence Place Dairy Queen is owned by Phil and Maria Pappas, while the North Attleboro location is owned by the Pappas family.

To help celebrate “Miracle Treat Day,” Blizzard fans are encouraged to use #MiracleTreatDay on social media and share photos with their favorite Blizzard Treats. Last year, Dairy Queen operators across the United States and Canada combined to raise more than $4 million on “Miracle Treat Day” for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
