The conference is intended for rehabilitation professionals and will highlight current trends and guidelines for the medical, surgical and rehabilitation management of orthopedic trauma patients. Discussion will include interdisciplinary approach along the continuum of care including managing patient and family expectations, pain management, and best practice for therapeutic outcomes. An interprofessional panel of speakers including specialists from the areas of orthopedic surgery, physiatry, physical therapy and occupational therapy will present.
The conference fee is $150 (students $60) and includes a course materials link, contact hour certificate, continental breakfast and lunch. Space is limited for this event.
