Food is Medicine/Spanish


Join this virtual (via Zoom) four-week Spanish version of our Food Is Medicine course to learn how to prepare affordable and nutritious meals on a limited budget. Find out how to decrease your risk of obesity and related chronic diseases through food and diet changes. Attend all four sessions and receive a Food Is Medicine recipe book and a bottle of extra virgin olive oil. This class is free of charge to the community.

The featured speaker for this event will be Gabriela Velazquez, a Johnson and Wales Univerity nutrition/culinary intern.

Acompáñenos en las próximas cuatro semanas en el curso Food is Medicine. Por fin en versión español que les enseñara a como preparar platos asequibles y nutritivos.  Descubra como reducir el riego de la obesidad y enfermedades crónicas a través del cambio en comidas y el cambio de dietas. Asiste a las cuatro sesiones y recibe un libro de recetas de Food Is Medicine y una botella de Aceite de Oliva Extra-Virgen. La clase será gratis para la comunidad.
