Mental Health First Aid Information Session

Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 9:30a.m. - 11:00a.m.

Have you heard of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and wondered what it is all about? Here is your chance to learn more about this internationally recognized certification under the auspicious of the National Council on Mental Wellbeing.

The Bradley Hospital MHFA program offers MHFA training to audiences both locally and across the country. This groundbreaking skills-based course gives people the tools to identify, understand and respond to someone who might be struggling with a mental health or substance use challenge — and connect them with appropriate support and resources when necessary.

MHFA supervisor Kim LaFountain, LMHC, will discuss the various modules of MHFA including those for special populations.

Please note:  This is an informational session only. Participants will not be MHFA certified or receive continue ed credits.
