Rhode Island Hospital and the Brown University Department of Anesthesia present the 2020 Rhode Island Anesthesia Conference: "Cardiac Anesthesia for the Non-Cardiac Anesthesia Providers." This years’ program will include nationally recognized speakers, panel discussions, and a poster session for CRNAs, residents, and anesthesiologists. This activity will focus on the complexities of care for patients with underlying cardiovascular disease.
Topics covered during the conference include interventional cardiology procedures, the adult congenital heart disease patient for non-cardiac surgery, and the use of echocardiography to guide management for non-cardiac surgery, right heart dysfunction, and mechanical assist devices for cardiac support.
At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Anesthesiologists, surgeons, certified registered nurse anesthetists, student registered nurse anesthetists, anesthesia residents and interested health care professionals
Registration for this event will be available until Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 5 p.m.
