Safe Sitter

The Community Health Institute is hosting a Safe Sitter training session from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at their Providence location.
The Safe Sitter curriculum is designed exclusively for young teens in grades six through eight, ages 11 to 14 years.
The course covers the following skills:
- Safety
- Child care
- CPR
- First aid
- Choking rescue
- Life and business
The Community Health Institute is nationally recognized as a Gold-level provider. Safe Sitter courses are instructor-led and interactive, with hands-on demonstrations and skills practice using soft-bodied dolls and medical manikins.
Registration
The registration fee is $50. Scholarships and an employee discount are available.
