The Miriam Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University offer Walk with a Doc, a program for everyone interested in taking steps to a healthier lifestyle.
Each event begins with a brief discussion of a health topic with local physicians, who will then lead the walk.
Make strides to help your heart. No special gear is required except a pair of comfortable shoes. You may walk alone, with a partner, with family, or in a larger group. Everyone is invited to walk at their own pace.
Walk with a Doc will start at the Providence Pedestrian Bridge, Across from Plant City. Please note that the location may change at any time.
There is ample parking on the street, but note that parking meter payments are enforced on Saturdays.
