What’s Good for the Heart is Good for the Brain

Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute and the Norman Prince Neurosciences Institute will present What’s Good for the Heart is Good for the Brain, a community event on heart disease and stroke, on Saturday, September 22, 2018.


The event will include a panel of three 15-minute physician presentations on cardiac and stroke warning signs followed by 15 minutes of questions and answers:


Demonstrations in cooking, yoga and meditation, as well as chair massages will take place. There will be sreenings for blood glucose, blood pressure and peripheral arterial disease at this event. Education on stroke, vascular risk factors, hands-only CPR, heart attack warning signs, peripheral arterial disease, and diabetes management will also be available.
