Insu Kong, MD is a gynecologist at the Women’s Medicine Inpatient Unit at Rhode Island Hospital, the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, and a member of Lifespan’s Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Services team. Dr. Kong earned his medical degree from the State University of New York, Brooklyn College of Medicine. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University/Bellevue Hospital and completed his fellowship at Women's Health Centers in Orange County.
Dr. Kong has 27 years of experience in gynecologic surgery. He is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His clinical expertise includes vaginal surgery, complicated benign gynecologic surgery, pelvic organ prolapse, and the treatment of urinary incontinence.
