Laura E. Korthauer, PhD, is a clinical neuropsychologist with Lifespan’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services. Dr. Korthauer completed her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She went on to complete her clinical psychology residency in neuropsychology, as well as her fellowship in aging and dementia from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital.
Dr. Korthauer performs neuropsychological evaluations for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes, with a specialty in aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
Her research interests include the use of neuroimaging, EEG, and novel cognitive measures to improve early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Dr. Korthauer is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society, American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, and Society for Neuroscience.
