Lifespan Pharmacy Opens its Doors at Newport Hospital
Lifespan Pharmacy has opened its first location on Aquidneck Island – right at Newport hospital. Patients can have their prescriptions delivered to their bedside upon discharge from the hospital, pick them up at the pharmacy or request free home delivery.
Take a Tour: Newly Renovated Newport Women's Health
Newport Women’s Health consolidated its two Newport practices into a newly renovated, convenient location at the hospital. The new center offers 10 large exam rooms, an ultrasound room, and a consult room – all in a relaxing, modern, and welcoming environment.
Our acute inpatient rehab program has expanded to 28 private rooms, located on two floors and is now the premier inpatient rehab program for all of Lifespan.
Lifespan Cancer Institute Relocates for Easy Access
To enhance patient convenience, we have relocated the newly renovated Lifespan Cancer Institute to the first floor of the hospital. The newly constructed area provides cancer patients with four new exam rooms and nine outpatient infusion bays.
Primary Care Physicians Accepting New Patients!
To meet the ongoing need for primary care in our local communities, Lifespan Physician Group Primary Care practices continue to expand. We have providers who are accepting new patients in our Newport, Jamestown, and Tiverton locations.
With nearly double the number of treatment rooms, the new John A. and Hope H. van Beuren Emergency Department better meets the needs of Aquidneck Island patients - significantly reducing both the wait times to see a provider and the overall length of stay in the emergency department.
