The Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Miriam Hospital Holds Men’s Cancer Wellness Group Dec. 21

What: The Men’s Cancer Wellness Group is a forum for men recently diagnosed with prostate, bladder, testicular, penile or renal cancers to learn about treatment options as well as coping with everyday life.
Facilitated by Kathy Higginbotham, LICSW, the group is intended to serve as both a psychosocial support and educational meeting. The Men’s Wellness Group provides a comfortable setting among peers for discussion, education and support through the treatment and recovery process – and each month a speaker will lead a discussion on a relevant topic.
The Dec. 21 session will be led by Christopher T. Tucci, MS, RN, BC, CURN, manager of the Minimally Invasive Urology Institute at The Miriam Hospital, who will lead a round table discussion about urology programs.
When: 6 to 7:30 p.m.
