Some things are difficult to talk about, even with your doctor. You are not alone. The Women's Medicine Collaborative presents, “Pelvic Floor Disorders: Getting Your Life Back," a free educational event.
Nearly 20 percent of the general population and as many as 50 percent of seniors are affected by stool accidents (fecal incontinence). At least one in four women experience significant discomfort and diminished quality of life as a result of a pelvic floor disorder. Many treatment therapies are available. Learn about surgical and non-surgical treatment options, physical therapy/pelvic floor rehabilitation and dietary recommendations.
