Hasbro Children’s Hospital Names ‘Brite Lites’
Five employees recognized for exemplary care on hospital’s 25th anniversary
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Today, 25 years after opening its doors, Hasbro Children’s Hospital named its 2018 Brite Lites award winners. Honorees, ranging from physicians, nurses and therapists to whole units, were among more than 45 employees nominated by patients and families for exhibiting outstanding care and compassion.
This year’s winners are:
Jennifer Pace, BSN, RN, CPN, of Johnston, RI, pediatric per diem RN
Odessa Holt, MSW, LICSW, of Rehoboth, MA, pediatric social work
Mohammed Faizan, MD, of East Greenwich, RI, pediatric nephrology
Kristen MacRae, BSN, RN, of Norfolk, MA, pediatric intensive care unit
Kimberly DeCastro, RN, of Portsmouth, RI, Tomorrow Fund Clinic
Started in 2002, the Brite Lites program recognizes employees who best exemplify the “four Cs” at Hasbro Children’s Hospital: caring, communication, cooperation and competence.
