Newport Hospital Earns Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award

Patient experience rating at Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center recognized

For the fourth consecutive year, Newport Hospital has been honored with the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for its inpatient rehabilitation program.

The hospital achieved the distinction by ranking in the top five percent for patient experience at its Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center. The award is given annually based on one year of data.

Durand, president of Newport Hospital. “I couldn’t be more proud of the expert care given to patients undergoing rehabilitation at Newport Hospital. Our Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center has been cited as a model for other programs nationwide.

Award winners were recognized Nov. 1 during Press Ganey's National Client Conference in Orlando, Florida.
