Sleeping For Two

Sleeping for Two is the first part of a research study being conducted at Lifespan that screens and identifies pregnant women who may be experiencing sleep problems. Based on your results, you may be eligible for other research studies. We are working to better understand how sleep problems might affect the health of your pregnancy, and how to prevent pregnancy problems for other women.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Recently learned you are pregnant
  • Are above your target weight
  • Often feel tired after a full night’s sleep
  • You or your bed partner believe you may have a sleep problem such as snoring or restlessness

You may be eligible to take part in a paid Pregnancy and Sleep Research Program, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.  Your participation is voluntary and will be at no cost to you. You will be compensated for your participation in this study. The sleep test will be completed in the comfort of your own home.
