About Bradley Hospital Outpatient Services

Under the direction of Karyn Horowitz, MD the care teams at Bradley Hospital offer comprehensive outpatient mental health evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and families from southern New England. A multidisciplinary staff of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and qualified trainees provides treatment using a variety of modalities including individual, group and family therapy, and psychopharmacologic management.

COAST-Clinic

The COAST Clinic

Comprehensive occupational therapy and speech and language evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents.

Early Childhood

Early Childhood Outpatient Program

Counseling services for young children from birth to 8 years old, and their families. 

Mindful Teen

Mindful Teen DBT Program

This six-month outpatient treatment program is designed for adolescents who are 13 to 18 years old (attending grades 8 to 12.)

Talking with Teenagers

SafeQuest Program

An intensive after-school program for adolescents who are at risk for self-harm and/or who are suffering from significant mood or anxiety disorders. 

Bullying and Children

Verrecchia Clinic

Individual and family therapy to children ages 5 to 22 who have behavioral and emotional challenges and developmental disabilities. 

Vista Clinic

Co-occurring Disorders Program

Two levels of treatment at outpatient clinics that provide care to adolescents and their families who struggle with a wide variety of mental health, as well as substance use, issues. 

The Intensive Program for OCD

This program uses a form of cognitive behavioral therapy to help strengthen a child’s ability to manage anxiety by gradually facing fears and reducing the repetitive rituals of OCD. 

Mental Health Help

Treatment plans are developed and coordinated with other providing agencies such as mental health centers, schools or community-based organizations. Depending on the patient’s needs, a variety of both individual and group therapies are also available through the hospital. In addition to the multiple outpatient clinics and programs, our care teams provide treatment for a wide range of common childhood psychiatric conditions.
