Neel R. Sodha, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Rhode Island Hospital and an associate professor of surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His clinical interests include aortic surgery, valve surgery, and mechanical circulatory support. He is the director of the Lifespan Thoracic Aortic Center, a multidisciplinary center specializing in the care of patients with thoracic aortic disease. In addition, he is the surgical director of the ECMO and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program for Lifespan and is the director of the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute. 

Dr. Sodha was chief resident in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and chief resident in cardiac surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and in thoracic cardiovascular surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
