Christine Trendell, MSW, LICSW is a psychotherapist in women’s behavioral medicine at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Providence College and a master’s degree from the Boston University School of Social Work with specialization in group work. She earned a post graduate certificate in adoption and foster care from Rhode Island College. Prior to joining the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, Trendell provided clinical services to pregnant and postpartum women in community-based outpatient settings and worked with families as an integrated behavioral health clinician within a pediatric primary care setting.

She is certified in Circle of Security and Child and Parent Psychotherapy. Trendell is a member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Association for Infant Mental Health. Her clinical interests include pregnancy and postpartum support, supporting the development of positive relationships between parents and their children, and solution focused brief therapy.
