Janice Martin, RN, MSCN

Registered Nurse

Janice R. Martin, RN, MSCN, is a registered nurse at the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Rhode Island Hospital. Janice brings more than 25 years of experience to the MS comprehensive services team. 

Janice received her associate degree in nursing science from Bristol Community College. She completed her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Brandeis University. Janice is a certified multiple sclerosis nurse and has worked as an intensive care nurse, clinical nurse manager, assistant director of nursing, clinical nurse liaison, and an infusion nurse. 

Currently, Janice helps coordinate the many aspects of nursing at the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Rhode Island, including the oversight of two infusion centers, supervision of staff nurses, and coordination of the newly diagnosed patient clinic. Additionally, Janice provides nursing care to patients in outpatient infusion centers and helps educate patients about MS, symptom management and disease modifying therapies. 

With a diverse clinical and managerial background, Janice is a dedicated patient advocate, committed to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
