Jennifer Fortes, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner at The Miriam Hospital. Fortes received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Rhode Island and earned her master of science in nursing degree from Rhode Island College, specializing as an acute care, adult gerontology nurse practitioner.
Fortes is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has obtained critical care certification. She is a member of American Nurses Association and American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She has worked for The Miriam Hospital and Charlton Memorial hospital for over a decade, serving on inpatient surgical and critical care nursing units. Her research interests include the relationship between diabetes and urinary dysfunction.
