Program Development Specialist/Instructor (Per Diem)

Jillian Nickerson joins the Lifespan Medical Simulation Center team after 15 years in the Hasbro Children's Hospital emergency department where she served as the quality and safety manager, as well as educator for the department. Nickerson has years of experience as a staff nurse. She holds a Master’s degree in nursing and has a passion for inter-professional education. Jillian is board certified as a TCRN (trauma certified registered nurse) and CPEN (certified pediatric emergency nurse) as well as an instructor for PALS, ACLS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC. Jillian is also an adjunct professor at Rhode Island College. As a per diem program development specialist here at the Lifespan Medical Simulation Center, Nickerson supports larger projects and in-situ simulations, especially when they are pediatric focused.
