Leana Mahmoud, PharmD provides clinical pharmacy services for neurosciences and participates in multidisciplinary neurocritical care rounds at Rhode Island Hospital. She is a member of the stroke committee and the smart pump optimization team.

Mahmoud precepts students from the University of Rhode Island, Northeastern University and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy – Worcester in internal medicine and neurocritical care. She also serves as a guest lecturer for the Rhode Island College advanced practice nursing program and the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy.
