Susan Curria, BS, RYT200, RCYP (Teacher Training Immersion Levels 1-3) holds a bachelor’s degree and credits toward a master’s degree in human development and psychology from Wheelock College. Curria holds a Black Belt in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do and is a certified yoga instructor with a specialization in providing therapeutic yoga to children with histories of trauma.
Over the past 15 years, Curria has worked with individuals who experience learning disabilities, behavioral and psychiatric challenges and trauma. She has provided behavioral consultation to children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings and developed strategies in support of individual behavioral need.
Curria joined Bradley Hospital in 2001 and has worked as a residential care counselor supervisor and behavioral educational development specialist.
