Assistant Program Coordinator

Tanis Caine is the assistant program coordinator of pulmonary and critical care research at Rhode Island Hospital. She joined the team in May 2015 and provides support for clinical trials and department funded studies in the areas of interstitial lung disease, sepsis, ICU protocols, and pulmonary hypertension. Caine also helps maintain bio banks for studies in pulmonary and critical care.

Caine was previously employed by Syracuse University and the University of Rochester where she worked on US NIH-funded HIV and behavioral health research projects. Caine earned her bachelor of applied arts degree from St. Lawrence College in Canada and is pursuing a career in public health.
