Todd Conklin, MBA, CPA, is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Lifespan. Conklin joined Lifespan from Ascension Health System, one of the nation's largest Catholic and non-profit health systems, with 150 hospitals in 20 states and the District of Columbia. In his role as chief operating officer for Ascension’s Wisconsin system, Conklin oversaw 24 hospitals as well as ambulatory and physician clinic facilities.
Previously, Conklin was senior vice president of operational finance for the Catholic Health Initiatives system, encompassing 109 hospitals across 19 states. Among earlier posts, he was chief financial officer for Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System (SCL Health) and Exempla Healthcare.
Conklin earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Illinois State University and a master of business administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a certified public accountant.
