Anne Cushing-Brescia, MD, earned her Bachelor's in Biology from Mt. Holyoke, Master's in Public Health from Yale and her MD from UMASS. She completed her residency at Berkshire Medical Center and worked in Emergency medicine and Hospitalist medicine for nine years, then went into solo practice for another nine years; she joined Coastal Medical in 2009.

Dr. Cushing-Brescia is the former Assistant Dean of Medicine at Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, where she was an advisor for the Program in Liberal Medical Education (an eight year continuum accepting high school seniors into both the undergraduate college at Brown and the Alpert Medical School). She is also Assistant Professor of Medicine (Clinical), her practice in Lincoln serves as an outpatient teaching site for the Internal Medicine clerkship (third year medical students in the office 3-4 months/year).
