“Find a Doctor” is operated by Lifespan and includes all physicians who are on the medical staffs of Lifespan-affiliated hospitals, without any charge to them. Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Lifespan or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Lifespan’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Lifespan hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Lifespan. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Lifespan or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Lifespan-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Augusto Martinez, MD
https://www.lincolnpedi.com/Augusto Rafael Martinez, MD, a board-certified pediatrician since 1989, has extensive experience in international child health. He is currently a practitioner at Lifespan Physician Group Pediatric Primary Care.
Dr. Martinez’s medical career has spanned both outpatient and hospital settings in the US and the Middle East, including work at Women and Infants Hospital in Rhode Island, and Emerson Hospital and Nashoba Valley Medical Center, both in Massachusetts. He also worked as a primary care pediatrician for Harvard/Concord Hillside Pediatrics in Massachusetts before relocating to the Middle East. He has served as a pediatric consultant to international hospitals including the Yemeni-Swedish Hospital for Maternal and Child Health in Yemen and Oasis Hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Martinez is an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, having held a similar position at the University of Taiz in Yemen. He also served as clinical instructor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky.
He earned his medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and a master’s degree in public health at Boston University. Dr. Martinez completed his internship and pediatric residency at Kosair-Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Martinez has been a longtime member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
